Finding the perfect cover look for a book is always a process, but when developing the initial covers for SHOMI, this was especially the case. Since SHOMI novels combine so many different elements — edgy romance, suspense, elements of science fiction and fantasy — it was a challenge to pin down exactly how to incorporate all of these aspects into one piece of art.

The series of images here showcase the evolution of one cover, the cover for our first SHOMI novel, Wired. The artist, Eric Kim, patiently worked with us as we sorted through several different cover concepts, and we are very pleased with the final art. We hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse of this behind-the-scenes process.
